Eclipse

This up to now is probably the only dress I own which I totally put great effort in getting it heavily beaded. I named it "eclipse" after reading the novel by Stephanie Meyers - sequence of the vampire love story. Yup I was so into that ant not to mention the movies too. Anyway back to the beading story, this design is simply scattered beads put up very close together. Sew each bead by bead close to each other and voila!, scattered beads in decent line. Then I arranged the crystals as so that it forms into sort of a petal with a pearl in the middle.


Baju ini merupakan satu-satunya baju empunya saya yang saya berusaha untuk hiaskan dengan rekaan manik yang saya kira cukup berat. Nama rekaan adalah inspirasi dari novel yang saya obses baca pada ketika menjahit baju ini. Rekaan ini mengabungkan manik tabur yang rapat dengan susunan batu kristal berbentuk kelopak bunga berhiaskan mutiara kaca ditengah2.

Frosted Purple

A simple design at the cuff of a "kurung moden". Blooming flower made of sequins with flower cup sequin n pearl in the middle. White leaves to match the whole design of the dress and scattered silver rocailes dispersed around the flowers.


Rekaan ringkas di cekak tangan sehelai kurung moden. Bunga kembang semekar hasil susunan labuci, labuci bunga dan mutiara ditengah. Padanan dedaunan putih serasi dengan warna corak kain dan disudahi dengan taburan manik bulat sekitarnya.

Kerawang Sakti

A design using vectors as the main focus, this design was mostly based on the running cylindrical beads. Few red flowers here and there completing the design, making it wild yet structured.

Rekaan kali ini mengetenghakan penggunaan teknik tali air bagi membentuk sulur kehijauan. Bunga kecil juga turut menghiasi rekaan menjadikan ia lebih liar walaupun terletak dalam strukturnya.

Flower Parade

Simple design created for a friend of mine for her Convocation. Glad she loved it when she got hold of it. I was going for a design that is not going to be just plain straight and were trying to cover higher up the arm , therefore the scattered beads were the best at doing this as it is not that complicated yet mantain its beauty. The scattered beads were shaped into triangles with more space i between beads as it reach the peaks.

Baju kali ini adalah ditempah khas oleh rakan saya untuk ke majlis konvokesyen beliau. Alhamdulillah, dia sangat berpuas hati pabila baju yang telah siap sampai ditangannya. Rekaan kali ini saya tekankan kepada rekaan yang lebih menjalar ke atas berbanding dengan rekaan biasa yang selalunya hanya satu garis/ lebar sahaja. Manik tabur merupakan salah satu corak yang mudah untuk dibuat bagi memenuhi sesuatu kawasan, maka dengan itu, saya memilih untuk membuat manik tabur dengan bentuk segitiga di antara bunga-bunga.
